The Vision
Rocky Mount has always had soul. Great music, great people, and a quiet greatness waiting for the right stage. The Renaissance Rooftop Bar & Lounge is that stage — three floors of Art-Deco elegance, perched above the city, opening Summer 2026.
We weren't looking to build just another bar. We wanted to create a destination — a place where the energy of 1920s Harlem, the craft of today's cocktail renaissance, and the warmth of North Carolina hospitality all live under one golden roof.
Inspired by the Harlem Renaissance
The Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s was more than an artistic movement — it was a declaration. That Black culture, creativity, and excellence deserved the grandest of stages. Jazz filled the air. Cocktails were craft. Conversation was currency.
That same spirit lives in every detail of The Renaissance — from the Art-Deco archways and gold-leaf accents to the Cuvée Prestige champagne poured tableside, the live jazz sessions at sunset, and a menu designed to make every visit feel like an occasion.
The Space

The Speakeasy Lounge
A dimly-lit, prohibition-era hideaway on the ground floor. Low ceilings, leather booths, and a cocktail list that reads like a love letter to the 1920s.
The Main Bar
The heart of The Renaissance — a full-service bar with handcrafted cocktails, curated wines, premium spirits, and small plates crafted for sharing.
The Rooftop
Where the sky is the ceiling and the city is the backdrop. An open-air terrace with lounge seating, string lights, and the kind of views that make every night feel like a celebration.
